whats a safe EGT. iv been told 1400 is safe for a short run. but my truck with the mods in my sig i get crazy EGT and lil too much turbo lag. so i have a fresh rebuilt motor. piston, rings, barings, turbo, cam, injectors, and manifold. how many miles sholud i run befor i really put the fuel too it?? and what can i do to lower my EGT?
