Default Light selector switch short?

Problem started yesterday just driving down road and all of a sudden dash lights gauge lights and running lights go out. Checked fuses the dash light fuse was fine but parking lamp fuse was blown. I have my gauge lights and also toolbox lights tied into dash light fuse. I've blown four fuses that were 30amp instead of 15 since yesterday. My question is though why are my dash lights gauges and toolbox lights goin out when Parkin lamp fuse is blown. Would it be probable that the switch is shortin out on the runnin lamp part of switch causing my dash lights to go without blowin that fuse? If so how can I get to the wires hooked up to it?

if you have the pull out style switch they are prone to melting at the connector and causing probs. remove cluster bezel and then screws that hold switch in pull it out and take a look at it
