Default Start-Quit-Run

My truck will start then drop down to 2 psi quit I wait a min try agaun and it starts runs fine
changed filter checked to see if i was getting power to pump after it started. I just put in new ATS tranny I do not see tht could be it but you guys need to know it all. You always help.Thanks

resett yer APPS and see if that helps

I know it sounds wrong but this has worked for alot of peeps in the past

Worth a try How do i reset the apps? I Guess i could look it up. I think i am lazy

turn key on

slowly press throttle all the way to floor

slowly release pedle all the way off

turn key off

restart

it is now reprogramed

I tried that it did not work so i changed the pump. Now when i bump the starter it only goes to5psi then drops to 1 psi. Any suggestions I only had 16000 0n the last pump

Put a meter on the line to see if your getting a voltage drop to go along with that pressure drop. It should hold the stead 12V all the time it's running. If your current stays good then I would guess the LP is going bad.

If it's holding current then you can either drop the tank to make sure the pick up tube isn't clogged with gunk from the tank, or you can pull the incoming fuel line off the filter and run it into a bucket to do a flow test on the LP. Either way if your holding voltage to the pump and losing psi you will be replacing the LP anyway. The pump is either getting weak or the internal overflow is worn out and hanging open.

Wher is you pressure guage tapped into the fuel line at.
