Default fuel problems

Hey guys I just put a hot rod vp44 on my truck and I gas on it hard and let off of it in gear and it dies I have to prime it back up like it runs out but keeps 5 psi on the gauge think its air but what do yall think and if it is were

Fuel pressure is too low. 14-20 PSI is the suggested range. 10-20 is book values.

For starters get rid of those over-sized injector lines and connecting tubes. Then check for fuel leaks.

Because they cause problems like you are talking about and they do nothing for performance, unless you are WAY up there....

Big Line Kit all the way. I've done the math on stock 6mm ID lines and they can only flow a MAX of 75 GPH which is not enough to meet Bosch's 70% return rule. But now flow rate on a 1/2" line is 520 GPH (If I remember right).

You could get a Big Line Kit from Vulcan Performance and then use a better pump like a Raptor or maybe a AirTex if you strapped for cash.
