Help
02 dodge 2500. When I bought the truck the lift pump had been removed and a in the tank fuel pump had been installed. A few weeks ago the truck quit on me like it had been ran out of fuel and it still had a 1/4 tank or so. after changing the fuel filter and bleeding the lines the truck fierd up and I drove it around the next day the truck did the same thing when I was leaving the store. Since then Ive changed the fuel pump and injection pump. If i let the truck sit sometimes it will not start until I bleed the lines and sometimes it starts fine. It has also cut off on me going down the road just like it did before. What are some things I can look for? thanks in advance for the help

Definitely sounds like air is getting in. Below are some PDFs that may help you out.
*On the first PDF check # 9 and make sure it is tight.
*The second possible thing could be the Overflow on the IP.
This is a great write up on how to check that: Mopar1973Man's Dodge Cummins Articles - Bosch VP44 Injection Pump Overflow Valve
