camshaft cover

I need to replace my camshaft cover gasket, has anyone done this that can give me some pointers. Looks like I will have to remove the injection pump, hoping to not have to.

Do you need to replace the tin cover, or the housing?

Not sure, the cover i need the gasket for is on the block on the drivers side below the intake.

Camshaft cover is at the very front of the engine, behind it and the gears the timing housing. On the left (drivers) side, in the middle below the intake horn is the lifter cover. It is a silicone seal.

lifter cover it is! I called my local dodge dealer and they had told me camshaft cover, and they would sell me a $50 gasket!

Well I picked up my $18 gasket today, installed and so far so good! Had to crack 3 injector lines before she would start, glad I didnt have to go after #6!
