Default Tire Sizes

Hey what tire sizes can be run on stock rims? (01 3500 dually) right now I have 235/85/16. I can't seem to keep tires on this thing, 20-25000 and time for new ones. I thought I might try a different size if possible. I have even considered going to 19.5 just to get more mileage out of the tires.

On my 2004.5 I ran 285/70/17s. They look like they will rub but they worked fine. I got awesome mileage out of them compared to stcok. I would only get 30,000kms out of the stockers and I sold the truck with 85,000 on this set...Toyo Open Country A/T!

Default Tire Sizes

On my 02 Dodge Dually I ran the OEM Goodyears until 40K, then put them on my hay trailer. I bought Michelin XPS tires to replace them. They are expensive, but well worth the $. I've now got 100K+ on the truck and the XPS's still have half the tread left. They are a full steel tire. Look on 1010 or Tirerack websites for tech information, then price around at your favorite tire dealer. I bought mine at Wally World back when they had good customer service. I also looked into 19.5 conversions, but that's some serious extra bucks.
Good luck~!~

I suspect Jazz has a single wheel truck though so your dually sizes aren't gonna work for him.

The 19.5 Ricksons, you can't beat these things, I wish I'd gone this route years ago and saved all kinds a money on replacin tires. Not to mention they ride better also.
