well i am in need of a little help. What is the largest tire that can be used on a dually without spacers? or should i just ask if 255/85/16 will fit without spacers cuz i just ordered them yesterday. i have been reading mixed reviews as to weather they will rub. i run empty most of the time. if i have to use a spacer can i just use a 1/4 or 1/2 inch or is there a reason that i would have to use the 1 1/2 or 2inch spacers. any help will be great cuz they will be here tuesday.

 

Yo could go up to 285's your 255's wont be a problem

 

how do you fit 2 tires that are almost 12 inchs wide without rubbing when the 245/75/16 that are 9.6 inches wide only clear by almost an inch? I don't want to have to run spacers if that is the way you fit the 285's.

 

285's will rub if they dont they will be really close and if you put a load on the truck they will def rub. 255/85's will be fine.
