im low on oil but i still have oil in the truck but after i replaced my vacuum pump seals i got blowby from my oil cap. im doing an oil change this week but its just a faint fart of smoke. nothing big but you could barely see it.(you would have to look at a certain angel and it almost a whiteish smoke i dont know there isnt alot) i still have a little blow by on my blowby tube.

Main thing is: could i have ruined my rings from low oil?

My oil pressure is regular. 60 on highway 25-35 idle. 70 on cold start ip

 

i think you are fine.

 

Make sure that the baffle is clean inside with parts cleaner & blow it out any restriction in this may give false reading onthe oil cap test

 

Low oil can cause damage, but the conditions need to be right. Heavy load, dirty oil, old oil, and low for an extended time. If you have a light amount of blow by, you are fine. There will never be none.
