Default Cab Clearance Lights

Looking to replace the stock Cab clearance light bulbs with light blue LED ones. Can anyone offer me any information on the bulb size and what not. Has anyone done this before?

blue lights on the exterior of a vehicle are illegal unless its a police car.

Pretty sure DOT will have a problem with that. Clear and smoked housings are the only "legal" alternatives I've seen for sale for those, and they're friggin' expensive.

I'm pretty sure they are 194 bulbs. Best bet is to remove a cover, pull a bulb, and look for numbers.

instead of buying expensive smoke lens covers you could try and paint them with black tint paint, they have it at stores like advanced auto parts, just keep layering the tint paint on til you reach desired color and then when your all done clear coat them a couple times with the clear they sell in a spray can so they tint paint doesnt peel in the sun. i have seen lots of people use it on their tail lights and head lights up here. when they dont clear coat them it tends to peel after a while.
