Default no start, new vp, new ckp

2000 truck, so it still has crank position sensor. Changed that to a new one. Running a fass, solid 15psi. No chip, all stock. Put a new vp44 in it already as well.

Guesses? Shouldnt be a cam position issue, I wouldnt think? Contacts at ckp looked a bit corroded, cleaned them up, and tightened them as well. Also, bleeding fuel, 1, 3, 4, get gobs out of 3,4 very little from #1, same thing with 1, 3,5, very little from #1.

FWIW, tried starting after bleeding, was trying to start, chugging, blowing black smoke. Now, with ckp changed, changed back, contacts cleaned etc, getting just a little exhaust smell. Is there anything else beside the ckp that would cause the pcm/ecm not to send signal to vp to start?

Do you have 15psi while cranking? IF the VP has too much pressure, it will have a hard time starting.

What about airflow? Would there be a blockage anywhere. No airflow to cylinders for compression. How is the turbo. Is compressor wheel ok? Just a thought.
