I am looking for an turbo back exhaust system too give a loud deep nasty tone.

I am torn between a 5" mbrp turbo back single turn down with no muffler or a 5" mbrp turbo back straight.pipe.with stock exit.location.

All for a 2000 24valve

Which one is louder and deeper

I would imagine the sound coming out the pipe would be close to the same. You may hear the tail turn down in the cab more, as it can echo off the ground.

 

I just installed a 5 inch with 4 inch dp on my 99 it exits in the stock location. It's got a nice deep tone but gets loud when you step on it. I like the way it sounds but I bought some parts from the local truck parts store and put mine together myself I don't know what the mbrp system sounds like.
