Default How to get more boost?

hey guys,

well Im feeling the hunger for more power, or at least more boost? Ive heard you can do a Boost elbow but whats a good set up If I do that, and what can be the pros and cons and things to consider before I do something Like that. My truck is mostly stock, upgrades are in my SIG. Truck does have 238K on the engine and tranny, still have not bought a programmer still cant make my mind up....

You need to add some more fuel to utilize more boost. The boost elbow is a simple device that restricts the amount of air that can go through and open the wastegate. By doing this it allows you to build and use more boost pressure.

I would suggest doing a 4" TBE, that will help.

ok, I ve been wanting a 4in turbo back exhaust but Id like to get a new air filter system and a programmer before that.. SO when you say more fuel, you mean Programmers and injectors right? or just better flow of the exhaust?

I would get a fuel system and gauges before anything else.

Look into Quadzilla Boost Fooler. Im sure they have them for your year truck. On a stock setup, It will add btwn 5-8 additional psi with no additional fuel. Its plug-n-play and works.

Cool, I want to do some modification and squeze some hiding potential power out of my truck but nothing serious till I build the tranny, but I need a second vehicle before I do that...

but>>>boost fooler - boost elbow - BHAF let her breath!

smarty fools too up to 44psi i believe, not 100% sure though on your 2nd gen

And I'm willing to bet you can push 35 without throwing codes, and if you have the fuel you could push that by adding the adjustable elbow
