Fill the filter and water seperator (if you change the WS) up with fuel before placing them back on the pump. Then bump the starter but don't start and let the system prime until it stops then fire it up. No need to crack lines. :c:

Ive never had luck with just change and prime!!! but I got the old, stock filter housing...

how often should i change the water separator?

so i just spin them off, let fuel pour into new ones, then spin back on? and what do you mean by bump the starter. just turn key shortly but dont let it start?

im not the smartest :ouch:

Get some diesel into a can and fill the filters that way, and yes just bump the ingnition really fast and let go.. do not start, waterseperator should be done every time you change your filters...

Ok well fuel filters are gettin changed every 10-15k miles usually. Im just gonna orderthem from airdog, and as for oil ill probably stick with rotella

what type of oil ?

I use Amsoil 15w40 ... it works real good .... I use the severe gear 75w110 Amsoil I get it about 6 bucks cheaper than sta-lube fully sythetic 75w90...:tu:
ALSO THE TBN LEVEL IS 12.... INSTEAD OF ROTELA WHICH IS 10.6... just sayin
