Default tire sizes

My truck came with a set of mickey thompson classic II 17x9 inch polished wheels and i live in the north east were winters are full of salt on the roads. i am going to get a set of 16 inch dodge factory wheels most likely. was wondering what size tires everyone is running that has 16s. I have a 2.5" leveling kit in the front and i have 4.10 gears.

I also have a 2.5" Levelling kit, and am running 315/70R17's, basically a 35x12.5, with wheels with a slight off set. I have run 305/70R16 on factory wheels with no rub issues. For a strictly winter tire, I would look at something narrower though. 285/75R16 wouldn't be too bad. Might look a little small, but would offer better down pressure.

I second that! I had a set of 35 KM2's on my truck, it looked great, traded them out for a more street friendly tire prior to a long distance moved, regretted it everyday since!
