I just have a single gauge, and it's installed in that little cubby hole just to the right of the heater controls. They make an adapter that fits right in there. My power for the sending unit is hooked into the fuse panel at the cigarette lighter fuse. I've got the ground hooked right into the battery. I had it grounded a few different places with the same results. All my other grounds checked out fine on the multimeter. I thought maybe I might be getting some kind of power boost off the cigarette lighter connection, but didn't know if that was even possible. The thing that really threw me off was when I turned the key just to the on position, not ingauging the starter, so there shouldn't have been any pressure, and it jumped right up tp 30 pounds, down to 25 and stuck, till I tapped on the sending unit, then back to zero. I would like to think that maybe I'm just over looking something, so any help would be greatly Appreciated

The ISSPRO EV2 is still the best ele. FP gauge that we sell. We have fewer problems with it then the other brands. If you are insterested in added a FP gauge to your set-up just give us a call. We'll go over your existing fuel system, ask you some questions, and can set you up with all the parts needed to install one with a FASS system. You'll probably need a special fitting instead of a banjo bolt.

No drain on the battery? I guess if there is no pressure when it's not running then there shouldn't be any drain....I think.

no drain on the battery because the pressure bleeds off, the way it goes on my solenoid is its the power go to the guage and back to the battery where I have a inline fuse, then the ground go to the frame, where my other guages are also grounded.. the only guage that doesnt seem to read right is my transmisson temp, and I need to go down to that sending unit and see where it gets its power from...

Yes, take a look at the R17033 Fuel Pressure gauge. You can install the sender right into the fass port, or if you prefer, you can put it in the line that feeds the inj pump. If you go that route, you'll just need a tee in the line, which we sell also. If you have any questions feel free to directly email me and I'll do my best to help you out.

Thanks

You have whats called the "water hammer" effect going on. You need a needle valve or an autometer snubber #3279. This link will explain things a lot better than I can Mopar1973Man's Dodge Cummins Articles - Fuel Pressure Gauge And Water Hammer Effects
