Default hard hot starts

24v truck in sig having issues. Searched through the forums and tried several things. Here's the deal When truck is warm it just started the other night wouldn't start for awhile in town. Had to heat up starter several times to fire it. When it's hot it doesn't want to start at all. In the past it would do it for a sec every now and then but now it's bad. I went ahead and topped off the tank to make sure I wasn't sucking air from the tube checked all fuel lines no smell and none look like they're leaking. Truck runs 20psi idle 15psi wide open 17-18 when cranking. Industrial Injection vp44 2 years old or so along with raptor fuel pump. No codes truck runs great when running and sometimes when it's warm it fires every time. Batteries in great shape motor spins over fast even hooked up my charger with extra amperage no difference just spins even faster. Tried unhooking edge every simple thing I could think of. Help my truck is in constant use and need it going. Thanks

Quick update after lots of researching came across a post by mopar man about unhooking the lift pump. Fires up great I shut off the truck tried it a couple times fires first crank every time hook lift pump back up won't start. He describes how to hook up a 30 amp relay to cut off fuel while cranking but his link to the diagram is gone since it's an old thread. Anyone have this diagram by chance? The theoy on this sounds disputed but it is what it is so I want to hook up this relay and get my truck going again. thanks

run your pump wire over to your electric window so the pump wont run when the starter is in the crank mode.

Tony are you using a relay or just taking the factory wiring and extending it to the window motor circuit?

Sent with a Droid RAZR in one hand and 14,000 volts in the other.

yes dustin you cut between the relay and factory wiring. you can use the fuse for the power window. some vps this will help but some are messed up too bad. my sisters truck has been running 4 years this way. brian does a lot of spring changing down to 10 lb. on airdogs
