i think my truck is gunna need a lift pump it started bucking once a while under load i replaced fuel filter seemed ok but 5th gear had lost power seems, and when i bump truck over i dont hear the pump, could this be the lift pump? if so imn going with a fass, the injection pump is pretty new. thanks guys

Yes, it could very well be the lift pump. Double check all your fuses and relays to make sure it isn't an electrical gremlin. Regardless of modifications or power, a good aftermarket lift pump is an excellent investment to keep your VP44 alive and happy. A fuel pressure gauge is also an excellent investment.

well checked FP was at 14psi and didnt drop below 8 so im guessing that i had a little bad fuel or filter was cloggin up or air from some where
