Pepboys honored their work and replaced the tires with a set of Copper HT. Rides/handling back to normal. Feels 100% better.

Got lucky

some tires are made with a "dent" in the sidewall but it shouldnt have more than 1 or 2.......if they were springy they sound like they were bad, but ALOT of tires do have "dents" and they are 100% completely fine.....

I dont agree....'dents' and bulges are almost 100% of the time a sign of seperation...this is called a mnufacturing defect and should be warrantied in most cases.

I personally would NEVER keep tires that were seperating...

If you are getting brand new tires with dents in them from the manufacturer, then you should be refusing them.

I need to do something about this...it may be ok if you are just putting around town but pretty dangerous on the highway.

I feel that when I pay for a product, it should be free of defects or blemishes. If I opted for a blem, I should get what I pay for. Regardless the product should be safe.

Regarding the dents. I didn't care until the truck started bouncing down the freeway. Either way I don't expect to pay full price for a product that is defected.

I got lucky and PepBoys made a customer happy enough to spend more money their. More buisnesses should.

Pep Boys has been around for a while, they are fending off all the "auto parts" stores for a reason.

Their service has always been pretty good as far as I am concerned. Glad to hear it worked out for you.

Wrong. That would be an imperfection in the tire and would immediately be replaced.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The Coppers are the same way, dents all around the tire, but the truck handles like normal. I have only put a 100 mile on them and I have not put a load on it. Any suggestions and what are your tires like? Do they have dents in the sidewall?
