I thought the 24 valve had the blow by tube on the front of the motor, not by the starter. Does it have a one piece valve cover or individual valve covers with a plastic cover on top of them ? Somebody may have changed the doors
It's a 1 piece valve cover, even on the valve cover it says 24v cummins.
I thought there was also an audible difference between the 12v and the 24v, I would say my engine sounds about as loud as my brothers 08' 2500.

I checked it out and the hose that's in the picture goes around the outside of the blow by.
