My Airdog system calls for diesel compatible thread sealant.

Is most thread sealant compatible or do I need to have a special type?

I have Permitex high temp liquid goo in the shop along with the regular tape, just not sure if I need to search out a special type.

 

liquid teflon is fine or tape. u dont need them on the jic fittings

 

I used permatex liquid teflon to seal mine it says diesel fuel compatible on the can.

 

Did a bit of research and found that the Permitex high temp sealant that I have have is diesel compatible.

It didnt say either way on the tube so I asked around and then found it online.
