Can i straight pipe my truck by myself? if i got a muffler delete pipe. Also what are some sexy cheap exhaust tips. that would fit onto my stock exhaust without adapter.

if you can weld/have a welder available and have the pipe.... yes, im not sure about buying the delete pipe. Are you in an emissions state?

you can pick up a straight pipe, turbo back kit pretty cheap. Post in the Quote section and the vendors will shoot you pm's with pricing. I did my exhaust by myself uninstall of old and reinstall of new w/muffler in about 2 hrs. Biggest pain is getting to the turbo flange bolts.

^ agreed, very restrictive. Bump it up to 4" turbo back. Our sponsors will get you a great deal on a kit. I suggest a kit with a muffler as well, as it will reduce cab drone.

I was thinking 5'' back i have heard of people trying to decide on 4'' or 5'' back and it seems like they all do 5'' back with like a 6'' tip.

Sure, enjoy the drone in the cab. 5" has no performance gains over 4", FYI. I installed 5" as I had plans of the compound turbos. It made no sense to me to have a 5" outlet of the S471, just to neck it down to 4"

the noise is not bad at all with no muffler.... i have a 4" turbo back system and you can not here the exhaust in the truck... all you can here is the motor noise and turbo! witch i love!!! but i put on 8" pipe and they are right there is not any gains above four.. save your money buy a 4" system with a muffler or non muffle your chose. i can say though i got more power out of my four inch system when i removed the muffler something to think about...
