Can anyone shed any light on this, is there a fuse some place to track down....just old dodge wiring?

I haven't worked on it yet, and I realize this is a dumb question to some degree but I'm hoping you guys can reduce my trouble shooting time a bit.

Truck fires right up with alligator clip from battery to solenoid....nothing without it.

Also, didn't realize the solenoid only drops pressure, it does not totally stop fuel flow. This maybe considered common knowledge, but being the dummy I am....I had not a clue.

Good news is the truck starts and runs now.....
