Default 22.5 rims on 1st gen?

Does anyone know if there is a company that offers a kit to put 22.5" semi rims on the 1st gen dodges? I haven't seen any nor have I seen a 1st gen with this setup. Is there a reason why? Other than some folks not liking them. Thanks!

Well to my knowledge the 8 lug pattern is the same as the newer dodges and so im guessing that the 8 to 10 lug adapter kits work and should fit. But if your truck is a 2wd you will have clearance issues and i have a 4x4 with 20's and 34's that rub on the drag link bar so in clearance issues on the 4x4 i think that that will be your only problem but im guessing the kit should work.

Thanks for the info! Mine is a 2wd. I've got a 1" leveler for the front, and a 3" body lift. I have the whole body off the truck now. I've heard the "coined wheel" being an issue. Any info there?

Or is the whole coined wheels thing irrelevant when using different rims all around? My truck is a single axle to begin with by the way.

I hope it's a single axle, if not you'll have bout $3,000 more in 4 more wheels and tires but not sure what your talking about on the "coined wheel" thing. And I think if your runnin a 1" lift in the front and 3 more inches on the body i think you'll be ok on the clearance of the fenders and body but i think you'll be fine on clearance on everything else especially if its a 2wd. But i've never done it so i'm not 100% sure on it all. But I think you'll be fine.

worse case you could always throw on some wheel spacers too on the front to push them out away from things too.

Mines a single axle yah. I will need 4 drives and 4 steers total. I'm pretty sure it should work with a kit like what American force sells. Mild modification to adapters should be ok if needed at all since I'm a machinist. I just don't know many truck guys so I'm limited o whatever I can find online a far as info goes. Thanks again guys!
