Default Any Ideas: Truck problems

Hello
I have a 91 non intercooled w250 and Im having some troubles all of the sudden.
Heres a list of what all I am encountering
1. Radio goes on and off as it pleases, or whenever you hit a bump
2. The lights pulsate while driving and idling, this includes the headlights and instrument lights.
3. The water temp gauge reads that the truck is running extremely hot but the there is plenty of water/coolant in the radiator.
4. Speedo goes crazy even while in park (its an auto)
5. Oil pressure stays pegged as well
6. The BRAKE and ABS lights comes on and off too as it pleases

I personally think its a electrical problem that is causing alot off it, but I'm not a 100% I know this is several subjects to address in one question but any help would be better than none
Thanks

Sounds like an electrical problem for most of it. Could be a bad ground somewhere. Light pulsate only when engine is cold and intake heater kicks on

I would also suspect a bad ground somewhere

I had a loose fuse situation where the wires holding the fuse in place were not making good contact. Pull the radio fuse, tighten up the fuse box plugs and see if that fixes the radio. Could be the same issue with your other problems and others could be related to a ground issue or the like. Is your battery good (no dead cells)? Alternator is putting out 14.4V at idle at the battery>?

I had the same issue with my mustang, it was the voltage regulator for the alternator. Pulsing lights, radio would shut off etc..

The pulsing lights could be the voltage regulator it's common but I'd check your body ground by the battery on the rad support first.

Yeah that is true but the lights are grounded through the one on the core support. Atleast headlights n cluster lights are.

Most likely grounds with all the problems you've mentioned.
