Im not sure about the drive shafts, but there are two other points I would like to make. 1st you will need the adapter off the back of the 2nd gen engine to mount to your 4500. 2nd the t case off a second gen is a drivers side drop where your axle should be passenger. A friend of mine is doing the same swap, but he is using a 2wd 4500 with an old divorced np201 t case which is passenger drop. The np241's in the 2nd gen trucks are chain driven and not as strong as the all gear driven np 205 in the first gen anyway.

Ur original tcase will work if it's from a getrag and so will the driveshafts. If it was an auto Ur tcase won't work but not sure on driveshafts. Bolting it to the engine requires some parts too. The easiest is with a special bell housing. Otherwise u need The following parts from a second gen dodge: engine plate, starter, slave cylinder, clutch fork, and of course the bell housing. Make sure the trany has a 1.25 input and not 1.125 like the early second gen diesels had and on that note make sure the input shaft retainer isn't too long as some of them are and will not allow the clutch to release properly.
