Easy there boys. Have u ever had an hx40 for towing? I had one for several years pulling a 24000# gooseneck. Worked excellent. And by the way turbo2332 it only has a 16 housing if that's what u get. I got a 14 for mine. Like I said u need the right hx40. That includes the right ex housing as well as the right compressor wheel.

if you buy the 14cm housing then you would have a 60/65/14 which is a usable turbo for sure. it is a weak shafted little bastard but a usable turbo. in most all cases the hx40 comes with a 16cm housing which for most people is to big and the extra $$$$ you have to shell out to get the smaller housing is in most cases better saved for a much more reliable/stronger shafted turbo. for about $900 you can have a new hx40 set up like you describe but for $1200 you can have a much stoughter unit.
