does anyone have a site or a place to send my dash cluster to be rebuilt the odometer doesnt work and its driving me nuts

 

id like to know this also,my odometer,speedometer,and fuel gauge dont work,so i gota little work to do.

 

Call your local junkyard that's what I did and got one out of a 92 1/2 ton with only 50k miles on it and half a tank of gas only cost like $50 and all guages work and arent faded out

 

ok i plannin a trip to pick and pull this week...will stuff out of a ramcharger work on these trucks?

 

It "should" depending on the year of your truck, if its pre 91.5 then its a mechanical speedo but if its later like 91.5 to 93 then the speedo is electrical and the speedo runs off of a sensor instead of a cable like the pre 91.5's

 

how do i know if mine is 91 or 91.5?

 

Does it have an intercooler? The early 91's were still non intercooled like the 89-90 but the later 91's (91.5) to 93 were intercooled

 

o i got ya.i just a regular 91.can you put a intercooler off of a later model go on mine?

 

Not to sure about that i've never done it or know of anyone doing it but im sure you can, you might have to swap out your turbo but you also might be able to use it if you rotate your compressor housing on the cold side and then put the 90 degree elbow then boost tubes then intercooler then a differant intake horn. But I'm sure you can. What turbo does your truck have?

 

man honestly i have no idea.like i said,new to this stuff haha...does it say on the actual housing?sorry for the lack of info.
