Mine is 4" all the way from the turbo to the tip. Straight-piped and sounds B-E-A-utiful!

My current exhaust system is full length 4" from the turbo, but I'm currently working on a hood stack for my truck. It is almost finished.

AHineman,
Could you comment on fuel economy gains with this 5" system? It looks really nice.

Thanks man.
As for mileage improvement...none.

I went from stock exhaust sans the muffler to a 4" downpipe into the 5" kit 1st. Stock turbo, cranked pump....yada yada yada. With timing to the the head I got 22mpg with mixed driving and and a best of 24.93mpg on a trip. Never noticed a mileage increase, but boost came on quicker with about 2 or 3 psi more at max. I put the 5" downpipe on when I did the twins, etc. so mileage went down after that. Seems I couldn't keep my right foot off the floor.

On my 2wd getrag truck all I had to do was use a 1stgen downpipe and a short piece of flex between it and the rest of the kit. Hangers were all made on the fly, as they were different as well. The 2nd gen kit was just a straight piece of pipe between the downpipe and the pipe over the axle...it's not the same as the 4wd 1stgen kits that have a pipe bent to go around the transfer case.
