Default thinking i need a heater core....

so i was driving out to a friend of mines house and he lives about 20 miles away and i started to smell coolant and didnt think anything except for a normal smell of an old truck. i parked there for about an hour and when i was on my way back home i looked on the floor and found a puddle of coolant and defroster doesnt work leak or clogged?

Don't know about 1st gen but 2nd gen is an all day job. Haynes manual is a good investment for 20 bucks.

I'd pinch of the heater hose to save on a coolant flooded truck...
