So I installed pyro m3 pin & timing spacer. Only see 900 on pyro. Bahf and 3" straight pipe. Why so low as I can hit 1200 in the blink of a eye on the 96 I know the p pump flows more fuel and the injectors are75 hp. Is the difference in the pump and the 18cm exhaust for the low temps? By the way this is a 92 5 speed. Thanks!

where is your pyro probe in both trucks? if your 2nd gen is in the exauhst manifold, and your first gen is in the down pipe then theirs your reading difference,

Just sounds like the 96 is fueling pretty hard, I wouldnt complain about 900 in the 92 but your injectors and 100 plate are making the difference I would say.

Check the boost line to the AFC housing. With the M3, you should be higher than 900°. Also where is your star wheel set?

Starwheel is like 3/4 way down and boost line is fine off the manifold to top of pump. Truck runs great and I'd rather be low than high just wonder why the big difference at idle pyro is like 225

On a side note after doing timing spacer I used hand pump on side of lift pump about 20 times and lever never got pressure on it. I planned on doing LP piston lift pump next anyways.

True, low EGT is better than melting piston, but this seems unusually low. What kind of boost numbers are you seeing?
On the lift pump, if your lever in on top of the cam lobe the hand primer does nothing. The piston pump doesn't have that problem. Just make sure it's the low pressure pump unless you add a regulator.

PS; Higher lift pump pressure will give you more case pressure negating the usefulness of the timing spacer unless you can find a stronger spring to overcome the extra pressure. A nice catch 22.
