Default 12 Valve lope..?

i seen a vid on youtube and it seemed to be legit of a 92 W250 12V that was loping... is that even possible? or how is it done if it is?

Not a true lope, something wrong or **** poor setup.

i was thinkin it was somethin with degreein the cam maybe? i dunno i might just be showin my ignorance by sayin that tho. aint really did much with my truck yet.

i have yet to see a cam in a diesel engine make it lop normally it makes it run smother unlike a gas engine

degreeing the cam just ensures its in propper phase with the crank. Aftermarket cams dont affect lope in a direct injected diesel. Most performance diesel cams arent cut as radical as gassers are, there are alot of different factors involved between diesel and gas camshafts. From what ive seen on p pump trucks the mods done to the pump make a lope and when running oversized injection lines, idk about ve mods to make one lope. I do know if you have a lope and you like it, better not ever send the pump out to a pump shop because they will adjust the lope out of it. Had a loping p pump 24v here, sent the pump out to be calibrated for 5k rpm and it never loped again.
