Aright thanks. Yeah my trucks starting to rot bad. I needs do do a frame off tho because the guy I bought it from repainted the frame and axles every year without sanding so the frame and axles have about a qaurter inch of paint on them. Then he greased it every two weeks so there's an inch or so everywhere so I want to disassemble everything and fix it right so it'll last.

haha ya i want to make my truck last as long as i can. ive gone through pretty much everything. take ur cab off. its well worth it just to make life easier to take the tranny out . i had mine rebuilt while i had it off. either way no matter what you do to keep it from rusting its well worth the time.

make an account on photobucket and then once you have them saved on there each picture has a drop bar when you put your mouse over it. then in that drop bar theres like 4 things you can copy and paste and i think you want the bottom one. cope it there and paste it here and if you copied the right one then us should be all set.

Time for an update!!!

Ok I've been away awhile and havent been able to work on the truck been to busy with rodeo's this summer but did get some work done.

Right now I'm in the middle of replaceing all of the Ball joints, front U joints, bearings, rear drive shaft U joints, tie rod ends, sway bar end links, drag link, and front and rear diff fluid with Royal Purple. And all the parts are from O'reileys the best parts i could get and that are greaseable and servicable. Thaught I would do all this while i had the fenders off so i could have more room too work. Next will be the front rotors and calipers and rwar drums and brake pads and shoes will all be swapped out for new stuff then all that will be done and then its onto new leaf springs and shocks but shocks will be added after paint.

I got the motor all repainted and all new hoses on everything and sanded and repainted the exhaust manifold and turbo aswell as the boost tubes and radiator and radiator support and firewall.

After im done with all the suspension work im putting on a new water pump, powersteering pump, power steering gearbox, hoses, wiper motor, brake booster, and blower motor. I've already replace ALL of the AC and alternator, battery, and regulator.

I took some pictures and will be loading them up in a few days after i get a photobucket account.

Looks good buddy! I remember mine in that phase of restoration, felt like it would never get done. Now I see the light at the end of the tunnel and its awesome! I wish I would have pulled my cab off the frame and painted the frame, but I had no means of doing so at the time. Thinking I may just sand blast the rear of the frame and paint it with some chassis black before the new bed goes on though.

Keep up the good work!

Look at you and your fancy pants rear swaybar! Don't forget to rivet a patch and seal up the cowl cracks on both sides before putting the fenders back on.
