on a 1992 d350 if the speedo and odometer quick working whats the best way to fix it? I heard this is common?

Also if i get the odometer working will it show the actual mileage or just go from were it stopped working?

In my case the plastic gears were stripped or it could be sending unit, wires, or guage hard to say. I would start at the sensor and work from there. And the odometer will pick up from when it stopped working. Not much help I know but you just gotta do a little trouble shooting.

 

not news is, the sending unit is available at the pats house. thats what mine turned out to be.
