Bought 92 ext cab 5 speed 2wd today 250 for 3000 new injection pump very clean truck and interior and motor. 210k miles. Not very familiar with a 1st gen. I've turned some up that's about it. I plan on swapping it to 4x4 and ppump it.

IMO, the p-pump is overrated. Yes, it does have an edge on peak performance, but the VE is still a great pump with lots of potential.

I'm working on an HX35 swap and putting some 5x.012 injectors in my '93. Used parts mind you, but at only $300 it should be meaner than my already sporty non-IC D250.

i would like to know how beneficial a intercoolwer swap would be along wih the hx35 with the bigger boots and plumbing. im going to get it tomorrow idk what mess im getting in but i would love it to be 4 wheel drive. i know trading off or buying one would be better but its ext cab and 5 speed not to many of those if u ask me. in a week i will be starting body work and getting it in primer also. thanks for the reply.

I would get injectors first. These intercooled engines are underfuelled from the get-go. I got these 5x.012s in last night and it woke up. I've yet to test its limits because I need a pyro.

Man that's awesome u got some sticks! Me and my mom kinda got into it because I grabbed a notenook and wrote down some plans and I wrote down a roughestimate on parts and stuff and she told me I'm a idiot and a wasite of time to put money into a truck. Well anything I do to my mom is wrong and she tells me she can't wait for me to leave for boot camp any longer. But back to the point while I'm I'm at bootcamp ill be saving up money on top of what I already have and I know its not worth it but I almost plan on restoring the truck. Full body work work and paint job door jams under the hood and freshen up the motor swap in a nv4500 and tcase and. 4x4 conversion to newer axles and stuff and lift it and nice wheels and tires and maybe ppump it later down the road in newer model seats and vynl floor and stuff etc. But my mom don't understand that but thanks for the reply once again I plan on 5x14s and a lot of pump mods and a lot of head work and. And anything else u name it .
