Default Injectors

Getting ready to put a HX40 on my 90 non I/C and looking for a good set of injectors to run with it. Anybody have any that you want to get rid of or know what would work best. With the mods in my sig??

I would probably buy a set of PODs for starters, and if that wasn't enough, then buy some bigger tips.

i have a set of 5x.014's that seemed to work pretty good with my HX40. i need a bigger turbo soon though. if i could do it over again i would just save up the money and get a bigger turbo instead of the hx40.

How much bigger would you have gone and still be streetable? Just curious because I dont do anything crazy with my truck yet and dont want to have a super laggy turbo.

im not really sure, i havent looked into it too much to see what i should get next. just from my dyno results i can see that my power peaked quick and didnt hold very long. dont get me wrong though its a very streetable turbo. it comes in handy with how decent it spools for going into hills and when i want to get on it. when i go to drive my dads 1st gen that has one of the S300 turbos theres a big difference in spool time but once it spools up it moves right along. if you dont plan on upgrading to more power for a while then get a hx40, it will probly work well for what your lookin for. especially if you get a hx40 with teh 7 fin compressor wheel. mines only 8 and im surprised at how well it spools. if you can you should get an intercooler to put in your truck. it made a pretty good difference in mine even when i had the stock turbo in. it seemed to help with spooling along with the cooler egt. i hope this helps you some.

A 5x0.14 with a 62mm charger run sweet if you are gonna sty with a hx40 then go 5x0.12

Thanks guys. I am more than likely staying with the hx40 so BBD I might be taking a set of 5x0.12's off your hands here soon. Rusty89 Im getting a intercooler out of a 2nd gen so should be set up pretty good for what I do with it after that is done.

Go with 5x12's. I'm going to be doing the same swap before too long and POD's run too hot for my liking and the towing I do
