Default What's this electrical component?

This little thing is apparently wired into the interior/dome light fuse and drains my battery as it is always pulling current because it stays hot to the touch. It was under the column and tied to the main harness going into the fuse panel.

I think it goes to the ignition light it might be a relay but I am not positive.

Manual window truck, manual locks, nothing seems to have quit working since I pulled it unless it is something to do with the cruise control because that hasn't worked since I bought the truck.

It's the bi-metal switch that turns on your "halo ring" around the ignition. It gets powered from the interior lights and keeps the ring lit after the door is closed for about 45 seconds
