216k bought two years ago with 203k odo gear broke sometime between. all three Dodge's i bought were within three HUNDRED miles of eachother. the 94' 203495, 98' 203687, 92' 203337.

My 93 has 144k on it. The tranny feels... Weird i guess. Shifts really late it seems.

is it a good idea to buy a motor with 320,000miles and be ok fora while or would you over haul it befor install? no idea how its been run

If it runs with no strange sounds then no need to overhaul it. They will last alot longer than 320,000 if taken care of.
