need some input on installing a stack

Default need some input on installing a stack

ok i got a 8 inch cat back stack that goes down to a 5 inch. my 91 is bone stock it has the 3 inch dp. i was wondering i can just use my dp and get a adapter for it. also i dont wanna have to cut my cross member on the bed could i just move it back about 6 inches. please help me if you know. thanks

Yes and yes but IMO it will def look weird being that far away from the cab. I'm picky about my truck and I had no issues cutting the cross bar. It's the right way to do it since a normal stack clamp can be used to support it on the front of the box.

i dont have a plasma cutter to do it. also did you take you bed off or leave it on to cut the cross bar out and what did you use to cut it with.

Bed on and a hole saw did it no problem

you use a hole saw to cut the cross bar also.

ok cool hey i have a 120 Amp Arc Welder. that should work for welding my exhaust together. i have not welded in long time. i got this from a buddy he never used it its still in the box.
