Default How much are 1st gens going for theses days?

The reason i was asking, someone in town is saleing their 1st gen. Some info on the truck is. Im not sure on the year but its a 4x4, automatic, 221k miles. new tires 285x75x16 also with new rims. Its been painted, but some spots are dinged in and chipped the paint. No tailgate, inside the bed is rough but didnt see any rust. The back bumper and the fender wells has been painted (spray can) to make it look good. Hood latch, didnt work had to use vice grips to open. Noticed he tried to paint the engine. But did notice, valve covers leaked alittle. Clamp connecting to turbo, has a exghaust leak but other then that, truck started real good and quick. It was straight piped. The interior needed work. floor mat was ripped in a little place. new dash. needed a new seat cover. Thats all i can think of right now. But let me hear some feedback. Bc im wanting to trade a chevy for that truck. If he wanted to trade for it. He was asking 6,300 for the truck.

Thanks,
Bryan

i would trade a chevy for a cummins anyday of the week i love the cummins engine, and chevy's are a dime a dozen our first gens are becoming rare meaning if we take care of them it is going to run the price up.because not enough people know that thease trucks are just increasing in value with that said there is alot of small issues there that is gunna cost you a bit of money to fix i was offered $6000 cash for my truck and there is absolutly nothing wrong with it exept it needs a bedliner and i still have to have the middle stripe of paint redone. i have about $2000 into my truck and i paid $2200 so thats a pretty big return $4200 to $6000 and it just going up in value with the additions of kdp fix stacks on board air all thaat kind of stuff. yesturday that same guy offered me $6000 cash and a little toyota pickup i still didnt even hesitate to tell him no thanks hope that helps
