Sounds like a problem with the governor in the transmission.
Your problem is probably this--> 1989w250's Sig:1989 Power Ram W250 with .Denny T stage 2 fuel pin, Some DDP 100hp injectors 4'' straight pipe up to custom stacks, Performance air filter and intake, Glow shift three gauge dash mount pod with Boost, Trans temp, And EGT gauges, 92 grill, New shocks, I painted the valve covers and some other stuff under the hood Soon to be twin turbo and 5 speed.
That seems like more than a stock trans can handle if the pump is cranked up.
