Default Possible leak at fuel filter

I think I have a leak at my fuel filter and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what it might be?

Fuel heater is a common source. After a few filter replacements the tube gets loose and the heater starts to leak.

Or the water drain/ water in fuel sensor leaks sometimes too. Just depends where its leaking top or bottom of the filter.

You can delete the fuel heater by replacing the tube. I don't know what the part number is off hand.

its pretty common for the water fuel separator to leak. if there is water in the separator that is not drained before it freezes then it will expand and crack the housing. check and see if you have a drain valve and see if you can drain the water at the fuel filter.

Yes I have a drain valve at the filter but I was wondering if anyone knows the part number for the fuel filter that has the drain valve made on it?

Well I did some digging and found the fuel filter that has the built in valve it is a WIX filter part #33472 at oreillys.

So that filter eliminates the plastic drain valve but still allows you to drain the water?

Yes go to oreillys website and put in the part number and you can see a pic of it.
