2nd Gen Intercooler into 1st Gen
Hey guys, I'm getting conflicting information about installing a 2nd gen intercooler into a 1st gen Dodge. I've heard I need a 2nd gen radiator in addition to the 2nd gen intercooler for everything to fit, and I've also heard I don't need a 2nd gen radiator. I do understand there is some cutting and fitting involved, but thats no big deal. I've got a 1992 Dodge D350, and I found a 2nd gen intercooler for cheap. Let me know what you guys think.

I don't think you need a 2nd gen radiator to install the intercooler. Yes there will be so cutting, but not as bad as a 3rd gen cooler which requires cutting the frame. There should be a sticky on installing the 2nd gen cooler in a 1st gen. I know the 2nd gen have bigger cooler tubes so you'll need reducers if you keep the stock tubes.
