Fuel Pressure Problem
ok so i got my fuel pressure gauge in and found something horifing
. my idle fuel pressure is 6 psi and my full throttle is 2psi. here is my question
my filter has 6500 miles on it. would that be the problem possibly?
my fuel pump has 5000, i dont think it is it, but 2 yr warranty
would my new 40 horse injectors cause that little at idle , could it have to do with the fact im running to little timing ( working on it).
or the last/ easiest, is could it be the gauge? i ran 1/4" line to the gauge, didnt bleed fuel thru line to the gauge, and the tube runs thru a 1/8" needle valve right out of the banjo bolt.

If you've gotten some bad fuel then your filter could be the problem. Your injectors could certainly cause a issue. Do you have an aftermarket lift pump?
You definitely need to make sure your bleed the system all the way up to the gauge or isolator.

Actually that sounds about right, Gomer. The stock LP pulling through the stock 5/16" lines from the tank is not going to keep up with anything more than a slightly turned up VE. I don't know how much you have on the fuel screw, but with those injectors and more than a coupe turns of the screw, you could probably suck it down to zero on a long, hard pull.
Your gonna need a piston pump and/or some overall fuel delivery system upgrades.
