Rpm question

My truck idles (in park) at about 750 rpm with the ac off around 700 with it on.
When i put the truck in drive though it drops down to about 550 rpm.. Is that normal for these trucks? Just seems kinda low for me..

So its nothing to worry about?

if it doesn't kill the motor your fine. Thats just normal drop because you added additional draw on the motor by way of the tranny.
