I don't know I was looking for the same truck but i ended up with a 89 auto with 300 something thousand miles and in not that good of condition. And now I'm trying to get everything that i want for it. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if its got all of the key components that your looking for, go for it. Its a lot easier to repair and replace then it is to start with something else

Hey luke46, sorry to jack your thread BUT I'm in the same boat. My interest is a 91 D350, dually, 5spd, with an intercooler! Kid put it in, custom did the tubes and slapped on an HX35 off a p-pump. It's in pretty decent shape, new amatuer paint but nice none the less. Flatbed w/g-ball, drove it and I'm in love Anyways, he started at $6500, talked him to $6000 but there are a few issues with it. First, the speedo don't work, period. I'm not sure if these p/u have one but it doesn't have an rpm gauge. Couple lights aren't working and the interior is sad, useable but sad. A/C is a no go, radio too and for some reason the high beams don't work either. Kid is in Tenn. right now but I can reach him easy. Just some opinions and feedback appreciated guys, thanks.

also location plays a big role..... in Utah the price on these trucks is extremly high. if it has what is important to you, do it. if you can talk him down a little, even better.
