The link in the stickys doesnt work does anyone know were to get one at now?

 

"prothe" is a guy that sells tons of chinesium diesel VW parts; as far as I know those $10 shut-off solenoids all come from him. Amongst the Volkswagen community he has the worst reputation possible; not only are for major quality problems, but bad customer service. Most of the hatred comes from his big-dollar items like turbos and cams that come apart; the potential for catastrophe regarding a shut-off solenoid is limited.

I bought four shutoff solenoids from him a while ago to turn into NPT adapters. Not much you can screw up on a shut-off solenoid; I wouldn't hesitate using them, if I didn't need it to last more than a few years.
