Depends on how much fuel you've got. I'd expect to see a bit more than 15psi if you've got no leaks and the turbo's in good shape. IIRC, somewhere in the vicinity of 22 - 25 psi is about right for a hopped up IP on a stock charger. The Phantoms are electric, are they not? Check your ground for the boost gauge unless they share one.

Otherwise, maybe there's a reason they were sold.

My truck run's around 30 lbs with a stock turbo, maxed pump, and 4 in down pipe. the exhaust seems to have gave me about 5 lbs extra by my snow performance display.

Seems like my truck with completely stock engine, intake and exhaust makes for a barely audible turbo. Is that what others have found before moving away from a stock configuration? I get no black smoke and good acceleration but thought I would check.

smoke doesnt mean anything except un-burnt fuel, which is better for the truck. my truck is stock exhaust but straight piped with a tweaked pump and star-wheel a half of a turn and i see smoke if i really step on it. im going to tune the pump til theres no smoke at all
