Where is the best place to mount my Thermocoupler?? I see people mounting them in the manifold. any advantage or disadvantage over mounting it in the downpipe? Thanks in advance

If you mount it pre-turbo, you will get a more accurate* reading. Putting it in the downpipe, the reading will be anywhere between 100° and 300° different, judging from what I've read on forums where folks have run both on the same setup. It is safer to put it in the DP, as thermocouples have been known to break off, although this is a rare occurance.

* The number you see on your gauge is not indicative of the actual cylinder temperature at combustion. Peak cylinder temps can be around 3000°F.
