Install a 99-2003 7.3 powerstroke I/C. I did and it fits with the a/c condensor. Just do a search and you should find a bunch of links to retrofits.

x2 on the PS IC. If you go this route, make sure you get one from the models DLittle listed. The IC's that came after these had plastic end tanks and were known to blow off under high boost. Well actually, mild boost by today's standards.

Default intercooler?

What about the ps intercooler working with a factory transmission cooler? I see the one in the picture is tucked right up to the top. Right where the trans cooler would be.

On the non-I/Ced trucks the cooler is right in front up top. On I/Ced trucks the factory cooler option is under the bed.

In your non-I/Ced truck your gonna need to do some hacking to the grill. You can make it all fit.

I know this is nit-picking, but the trans cooler wasn't a factory option, it was dealer installed. Just so you know.

Also Banks used to sell a kit to intercool the non-I/Ced trucks, they don't make it anymore but you might be able to find one.
